Bethesda Will Not Host a Replacement E3 Event This Summer
With E3 2020
cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus situation, a lot of publishers
have been looking into other ways to spread the message about their
upcoming games this summer. "Digital events" seem to be the way to go,
but Bethesda says that it won't be following the trend.
"Given the many challenges we're facing due to the pandemic, we will not host a digital Showcase in June," Bethesda marketing boss Pete Hines posts on Twitter.
However, our hopes of getting a potential glimpse at The Elder Scrolls VI and Starfield aren't quite dead. Hines continues: "We have lots of exciting things to share about our games and look forward to telling you more in the coming months."
